Today we did a somewhat different story. There is a group that call themselves "Raging Grandmas" and they are just that, ragingly mad grandmothers. They fight and protest against the war in Irak and today they were in Time Square to try and inlist at the local Army Recruiting Center. A symbolic way to trading places with their grandsons off at war.
The doors were quickly locked, and so they read a statement, sat down on the sidewalk and waited to be arrested. After the 2 minute warning was up the police kindly handcuffed the 17 elderly grandmothers, put them in vans and drove them to the nearest precinct for fingerprinting and processing... Gotta love grandma!!
