Return to New Orleans...

Exactly 4 weeks after Katrina hit we are back in New Orleans. Most neighborhoods that were flooded have dried up, or atleast most of them thanks to RITA. Its really surreal to drive through this empty city. No cars, no people just destruction and a sharp smell that irritates your throat. Its hard to decribe what it looks like. I don´t think you can get the feeling across by wathing it on television. How can this ever go back to something considered normal?? Its a total ghosttown. Can you imagine coming home to your livingroom looking like this...

Here is me eating lunch on the hood of the car. Beef Stew in form of an MRE(Meal Ready to Eat, the US military pre packaged meals. Bags of food that you heat, with crackers, jelly, candy; pretty tasty actually...)
