It didn't start that great with the Virginia Tech shooting, 33 people dead, at a school. Another school shooting... So sad. Bertil and I left for Blacksburg, Virginia for an intense 48 hours of work.
It ended a lot better, in Pensacola Florida, celebrating my birthday. Great company, great food and drinks, birthday cake and adventures out on the sea made for one of the best short vacations I've had.
Now we're back in NYC, waiting for another work week to "hit".
