There is something special about "Lucia", perhaps only a swede can really understand... It gives you a sense of serenity. Christmas is near. Beautiful voices resonating throughout the UN building as people from all over the world are there wathing. A few misty eyes were seen here and there.
After the performance we got a chance to talk to Mr Kofi Annan, aka Kofi, to us close to him.... He grabbs his wife Nane and Lena Kaplan and says: "I have my own Lucias, without the candles" and laughs with a glint in his eye. This man, perhaps perceived as very serious on TV, really is pretty funny...
