double bag...

Whenever I come home from the grocery store I end up throwing away a 10-12 plastic bags. They're so flimsy you have to use two or three bags so not to scatter your groceries all over the sidewalk on the way home. Other countries manage with single bags, Sweden for example. Why not here...?
