We´re just about to turn onto 51st street off 3rd av on our way to the Venezuelan Consulate. There is a guy with plastic bag in one hand and a NYC map in the other, trying to wave down tourists possibly needing a map. Wherever you look someone is trying to make a living, anyway possible. Peanuts, news papers or candy. Buy maps at the store, mark ém up 3-4 dollars then sell ém... Whatever works! Love this city!
