a better life...?

It´s been a few years since I flew Business class, but on our flight home today we got bumped up a class. A class of life... Apart from the 3 course meal, white table cloth, real silverware and good wine, you´re treated differently. The flight attendants are nicer, they smile more, they treat you like you were more "worthy".
Living in the US again I notice this more and more. "Class differences" in everyday life. Gold customer, first class, business class, platinum member, priority club etc etc etc.
On the Hertz bus: "This first stop is for our Gold and Platinum members only!" It´s like saying had you only worked a little harder you could have been getting off here too...
At Universal Studios you can buy an express pass, which allows you to bypass the 90 min wait line to all the rides... If you´re willing to pay for it, anything is possible.
Getting different merchendise if you pay more is fine, but getting a bigger smile for the same reason is classism...
