The United Nations is a diffucult place to work at. Lots of security and hoops to jump through. Now imagine that times 10. That was the scene today as President George Bush and a large collection of top world leaders spoke at the UN. Thousands of different law inforcement, local, federal, and state. You can´t stop on the sidewalk, you have to keep moving. No tripods allowed. It feels like everyone is giving you different orders. Can´t do this, move, stop, Press this way... Half of midtown is basically shut down. Police everywhere! This is 42nd street by Grand Central around 4pm...imagine that!
