Today we saw one of the dark sides of war. We met with US soldiers who´ve come back from the war in Irak with burn injuries. In a military hospital in Texas they spend months trying to regain use of their limbs as well mend their souls.
Halfway through our visit a man walks in the door. His is pretty much unrecognizable; nose, mouth, hands and hair is completely gone. He is greeted with a big hug from one of the doctors as he sits down for his therapy. It´s going to be a long journey...one day at a time.
