What a day...

Yesterday was something else. After sleeping for only 3 hours we got up and headed for Kennedy Space Center. After checking in and receiving my official Nasa Foreign Press badge we got on a bus. It took us out to the Shuttle launch site. Not only that, but we got to go to the top of this gigantic structure, the same launch pad that the next shuttle will take off from.
As if that wasn´t enough we also got the see the actual shuttle orbiter, the other pieces of the space station about to go into space and the preparations hall where the orbiter is "attached" to the rocket boosters.

I get to do a lot of fun and interesting stuff in my job, most of it is just a job though, something I don´t necessarilyly think all that much about. But this was pretty awesome!!
The exit behind me is where the astronauts enter the shuttle...
