
It's not what it sounds like, really. On our way to cover the Philadelphia Flyers, we drove through Lancaster County, and a small town quite different than most. Other than the fact the town is named "Intercourse" it is inhabited mostly by Amish people. And Yes, they drive their horse and buggies down the street, use no electricity, and still plow the fields using horses. Also you saw laundry hanging outside pretty much every house, and all the traditional clothing. In fact Lancaster County in Pennsylvania houses the oldest group of Old Order Amish anywhere, 18 000 of them. Reading about their beliefs and customs is fascinating, especially living in the technological age we do today...
