Today was cold, really cold . The wind was slashing through streets of Manhattan as we covered the Veterans Day Parade. It was a grand display of patriotism. Flags, flags and more flags. The oldtimers with oxygen tanks walking or wheelchairing down the street. Old tanks and jeeps firetrucks and floats, and of course people cheering on the sidewalks.
I put on every warm piece of clothing I could find. And the coffee from Dunkin' Donuts was a great hand warmer.... :0) Thank you Bertil!
