Hello and goodbye...

We asked this random lady in the street about conditions for women in Chile; about the President and half the government being female. After the interview was done she shook my hand, reached in, and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I was as surprised as Bertil, who got the same treatment, but I guess that´s the way you greet people here. I don´t see that happeing in New York anytime soon...
